Evolving[]

In Pokémon Brown, some evolutions depend on how the Eevee was obtained.

All Eevee are capable of evolving through the use of elemental stones:

Some other evolutions occur when leveling up, depending on where the Eevee came from:

  • Espeon:
    • Any Eevee captured in the 30 Years Cave will evolve into Espeon on its next level up, which will be level 26 at the earliest.
    • Purchase the first Eevee of the two offered as prizes at the Owsauri Game Corner's middle booth. The cost is 3,500 coins, and it will evolve into Espeon at level 20.
  • Umbreon:
    • Any Eevee captured in the International Tunnel will evolve into Umbreon on its next level up, which will be level 21 at the earliest.
  • Glaceon:
    • Purchase the second Eevee of the two offered as prizes at the Owsauri Game Corner's middle booth. The cost is 3,500 coins, and it will evolve into Glaceon at level 20.
  • Leafeon:
    • Only one Eevee can evolve into Leafeon: Rinji. It is traded to the player by a girl in Botan City in exchange for a Gligar. Its level will be the same as the traded Gligar, and it will evolve into Leafeon on its next level up.

Finally, Eevee can evolve by using a unique item on it:

  • Sylveon:
    • Using a Magic Wand, which is given by a Scientist in the house south of the Pokémon Center on Route 67. To reach him, the player must pass through the Seneca Caverns, which requires Surf.
