Oxalis City is a city in Naljo. It is connected to Route 73 in the north, and Route 72 in the south.

The city is the location of the Oxalis Gym. The gym leader is Josiah, a fire-type specialist. It's also home to the Happiness Rater and the Style Salon.

Gym

The Oxalis City Gym is located in the middle of the city. Its leader is the fire-type trainer Josiah, whose Pokémon are level 10-12. Winning rewards the player with the Pyre Badge and TM82 Will-O-Wisp.

Happiness Rater

The Happiness Rater's house, in the east of the city below the Pokémon Center.

In the east side of the city is Naljo's Happiness rater, who will let players know how happy their Pokemon are for free. She will give the Pokémon's happiness rating (a number out of 255), and a letter grade.

If the Pokémon she rates has full (255) or under 50 (≤49) Happiness, she will give the player TM27 (Return) or TM21 (Frustration) respectively. This will happen only once for each, as TMs in Prism are reusable.

Rookie Trainer Hall

Main article: Rookie Trainer Hall

The Rookie Trainer Hall is in the north-east of the city surrounded by a small ledge, and is a gathering place for young trainers. Here the player can fight five trainers with varying Pokemon. If the player defeats all five, the last trainer gifts them a level 10 Cyndaquil.

The Rookie Trainer Hall must also be used to reach the section of Route 73 that contains TM53 Whirlwind.

Salon

The Style Salon is in the north-west corner of the city. Players pay 1,000 upfront, then can change their Model (trainer sprite), Skin Tone, or Outfit (secondary color). Gender cannot be changed. If cancelled without changing anything, the money is refunded.
