The Jaeru Gym is Jaeru City's Pokémon Gym, located in the south-east of the city. In all three games, its leader is an electric-type trainer: Sparky in Pokémon Brown and Prism, and Scott in Rijon Adventures.

Pokémon Brown[]

Jaeru Gym is the fourth gym that the player encounters and can challenge in Rijon, though it is considered the third gym in Brown version. Defeating Sparky and earning the Sparky Badge allows the use of Fly outside of battle.

There is no gym puzzle here, only the trainers to defeat before challenging Sparky.

Pre-Battle	Brown: Are you the GYM Leader? Sparky: Yes I am! What do you want to do, face me or something? Brown: Uh... yeah! Sparky: Why do you even bother? My Electric Pokémon are way too powerful for anyone. Especially you! Brown: Well I'll see about that. Lets fight!
Post-Defeat	Sparky: You weren't kidding! Alright, here. Take the Sparky Badge!
Post-Battle	The Sparky Badge, named after yours truly, increases your Pokémon's speed, and lets you use Fly anytime! Take this too! [Brown received TM24!] TM24 contains Thunderbolt! Teach it to an electric Pokémon! On speaking again: Go on kid and enjoy the rest of your quest!
