Merson Cave is a cave in south-west Rijon, between Gravel Town and Route 54 (Merson Pass in Rijon Adventures).

Location Location of Merson Cave in Rijon.

The cave is first accessed by the entrance in the south-east of Gravel Town. It is the first challenge that the player will face, as they need to pass through it to reach the first city in the game (and subsequently the first Gym).

It contains wild Pokémon and trainers, but also several items and (in the 2014 version) a healing spot reached by a ladder on B1F.
