Owsauri City is a city in the region of Rijon. It is the location of Rijon's Game Corner, Name Rater, and daycare, as well as the second gym.

Gym

The leader of the gym is Lily, who uses Ice-type Pokémon at levels 18-21. Winning will award the player TM13 (Ice Beam) and the Hail Badge.

Game Corner

Main article: Owsauri Game Corner

The Game Corner is the large building in the center of the city, where players can buy coins, win them by playing slots, and exchange their coins for prizes. To do this requires a Coin Case, obtained in Moraga Town.

Day Care

In the northern portion of the City is a Pokémon Day Care house. One Pokémon can be left here, which will gain experience as the player walks. It costs 100 to retrieve a Pokémon, plus for every level gained.

Pokémon who know HM moves cannot be left here.

Name Rater's House

The Name Rater is located in the small house in the west of the city with a sign outside. Here the nicknames of the player's party can be changed.

Owsauri City requires a Bicycle to reach, as one is needed to pass through the Gatehouse south of Route 49.

Pokémon in-depth

The daycare has been replaced with a man who will reveal the Stat Experience of one stat for one Pokémon in the player's party. This costs 500 and can be done multiple times.

"Stat experience" is the old version of EVs, and every stat can have a maximum of 65535 EXP depending on what Pokémon were defeated. This means that unlike EVs, all stats can be maxed out. The stat experience gained on each win is equal to the base stats of the Pokémon that was knocked out, and obtained by all of the player's Pokémon that took part in the battle.

The Name Rater is located in the small house in the west of the city with a sign outside. Here the nicknames of the player's party can be changed.
